Movement has been part of my life since childhood. I loved the possibilities of dance, acrobatics and sports: learning a skill, trying something unfamiliar, and discovering what my body could do. I wanted to teach ballet, and I was also fascinated by gymnastics and martial arts. Those interests became the beginning of a much longer curiosity about people and movement.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Physical Education in Brazil and began working as a personal trainer while I was still at university. I also pursued further study in Physical Therapy. My education gave me a foundation in anatomy and movement, while being active myself gave me another perspective. An activity can be a source of joy, friendship, challenge or freedom. Understanding why someone wants to keep doing it matters to me.
A turning point came when I dislocated my elbow twice while practicing back handsprings. I was also competing in skydiving at the time. Going through recovery made me think more deeply about the person who wants to return to something they love. I became increasingly interested in massage and in bringing my movement background into the way I cared for people. That experience is part of my own story; each person's needs and circumstances are individual.
After moving to San Diego, I continued building my work in fitness and massage. Creating my own practice took persistence, and it gave me the opportunity to bring these interests together. Season Fitness & Wellness grew from that combination: movement, bodywork and personal attention, with room to understand the person receiving the care.
Today, decades of experience inform my work, and I still enjoy learning. My background helps shape the questions I ask, the movements I notice and the care I take in explaining an idea. If you arrive with one area that feels tight or uncomfortable, that concern is where our conversation begins. I want to understand what you are feeling and what matters to you in daily life.
We can discuss pressure, pace and the focus of the session. Sometimes I may suggest a gentler approach, rocking or guided movement. I explain what I am suggesting and listen to your response. Being present with you is an essential part of how I work.
Regenere is one way I bring massage and guided movement together. The same care for the individual shapes my other services, too. A session is an opportunity to ask questions, tell me what feels comfortable and take part in choosing the approach.
For the women I meet here in Rancho Bernardo, movement might mean dancing, walking with a friend, enjoying a sport or taking part in everyday activities. I care about what it means to you. That is the heart of my work: Personal care. Whole-body understanding. Movement for life.
